Actress, Angie Everhart

 

Angie Everhart made her film debut in 1993 with the Arnold Schwarzenegger action-comedy Last Action Hero. She has since appeared in such features as Tales From the Crypt Presents: Bordello of Blood (1996), Denial (1998), Trigger Happy (1996), and Gunblast Vodka (2000).

 

Other movies she has appeared in include Jade (1995), and Executive Target (1997), Another 9½ Weeks (1997), Sexual Predator (2001), Bare Witness (2001), Wicked Minds (2002), Payback (2006), Bigfoot (2008), and Take Me Home Tonight (2011).

Actor, Michael Greiling

 

Michael Greiling, born in Munich on February 24th, 1950, is one of Germany´s most well-known actors and has often been called Germany´s George Clooney, due to his stunning similarity.

He is a classical theatre actor having performed at many of Germany’s leading theatres, such as Residenztheater Munich, and Thalia-Theater, Hamburg, as well as theatres in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Brussels. His performance as Anthony  in William Shakespeare´s “Anthony and Cleopatra” at the Brussel Kaai Theatre brought him internationalfame. Equally brilliant as Theseus in “A Midsummernight´s Dream” and as Iago in “Othello”.  

 

Michael Greiling worked with German top directors like Xaver Schwarzenberger, Franz Xaver Bogner, Matti Geschonnek and many others. His roles in movie and TV-productions are countless and his intense acting left a unique impression on every role he played, making him popular with millions of TVviewers.

 

We are happy to have him in our film, since his equally intense and sensitive acting makes him a unique cast for the role of Tore, the hunter: a serious and pensive, monosyllabic character who is deeply involved in the mysteries of arctic nature.

Actor, Andrew Jackson

 

Andrew Jackson is a highly diverse and talented actor who has worked extensively in film television and theatre. His extensive list of credits include; Sea Wolf, Seed, Deadly Betrayal, Merlin's Apprentice, Scared Silent, The Last Don II and Shadowbuilder.

 

Andrew has had numerous recurring roles on such television shows as; The Collector, Kyle XY, Wind At My Back, Earth Final Conflict and Being Erica. Andrew won the Best Actor award at the Cabbagetown Film and Video Festival for his portrayal of 'the father' in My Father Is An Actor. Andrew is currently recording a series lead role on the 9 Storey animation series, Numb Chucks (CN).

 

Andrew recently returned to the stage to play the role of, "The Creature" in the Alden Nowlen and Walter Learning's play adaptation of Mary Shelley's, Frankenstein at Theatre New Brunswick. 

Actress, Eva Habermann

 

Eva Habermann (born January 16, 1976) is a German actress who has appeared in numerous films and TV series. She is best known for playing the role of Zev Bellringer in the television series Lexx. While Lexx was on hiatus between seasons 1 and 2, Eva appeared in the ZDF series Rosa Roth and the ARD series The Beach Club as well as appearing in the Rosamunde Pilcher film Two Sisters. Due to scheduling conflicts, she was ultimately unable to commit to the second season of the show, as, with a two-year gap between the first and second seasons, she accepted other projects and thus, when season two was ultimately greenlit, she was unavailable. She was, however, able to free up enough time in her schedule to appear in the first two episodes, allowing the writers to deal with her character properly.

 

In 1999, she took drama lessons and played in such German TV series as The Crime Scene, The Investigators, The Commissioner and Wild Angels. In 2005, she was in the new episodes of the twenty-year-old series The Black Forest Clinic and in 2006 she was seen in the TV movie In heaven you write love differently alongside Erol Sander. In 2008, she played again with Sander the role of Olivia O'Rourke in the film Who Loves Promises by Rebecca Ryman. Her comedy roles included Angel Express (1997), Fire, ice and cans of beer (2001), and In the old monkey fear (2002). In The Clown: Payday (2005) she played the role of Leah Diehl. In 2003 she was ranked No. 17 in FHM-Germany's 100 Sexiest Women.

Executive Producer, Bernd Späth

 

Bernd Späth, born in 1950, is a jurist (universities of Munich and Bonn). His experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, booking of prominent speakers and political lobbying stretches over more than 30 years. He served clients like the EU-commission, the European Parliament, the German Government and German Parliament “Bundestag”; but also BAYER, the German Building Industry and the Association of Food Industry (BLL). With his numerous renowned clients he worked on dozens of national and international markets. He also was an advisor to the former ruler of Qatar, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad al Thani and the former Defence Minister – and now President - of Gabun, Ali Bongo.
Besides that, he served as a Secretary General of the well-reputated German economic award “Goldene Brücke” (Golden Bridge).

 

Between 1982 and 1995, Bernd Späth participated in five expeditions on the Norwegian arctic island of Spitsbergen. During his extended stays adding to over four months he made over 10.000 km on snow scooter across the polar ice pack and glaciers. In 1983, he was the first German to reach Spitsbergen´s Northern tip across the inland ice. On his trips, he encounted several polar bears and survived two bear attacks which made him a frequent guest on TV and radio networks.

Since his 1981 bestseller "Side Aches" – a satirical novel about a pregnant man, turned into a successful movie in 1985, later finding surprising similities in Arnold Schwarzenegger´s movie “Junior” – Bernd Späth published 6 more novels acting in the arctic environment and further in the German postwar-era. His four theatre plays were equally successful in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Liechtenstein, adding up to meanwhile almost 1.000 performances.

 

Today, he lives in Munich and is the president of Oh My God! Theater-, Film- und Fernsehproduktions GmbH, developing several major movie projects and a theatre project for production. Besides that, he coaches managers for major German companies.

Director, Jason Hreno

 

Jason Hreno is a multi-award winning screenwriter and director. After graduating from McGill (Eng. Lit.) where he made 2 short films that were showcased on PBS in the US and then teaching English at a private school in Madrid, Spain, Jason worked his way up as a ‘runner’ / PA through the commercials industry in the UK. With great industry support, Jason wrote and directed his first major short film WANDERING EYES. Returning to his native Canada upon its completion, he was hired to direct Ridley and Tony Scott’s Cult-Fave Anthology Series THE HUNGER adapted from Tony’s film for Showtime Network and hosted by David Bowie. Shortly thereafter, he Wrote and Directed THE CONQUISTADORS, a 3 part Historical mini-series for Discovery Channel and TLC in the US for the Emmy and BAFTA award winning Executive Producer Anthony Geffen and Atlantic Productions. An account the Spanish Conquest of the Aztecs and the Inca, it was shot entirely on location in Mexico, Peru, USA and Spain. Jason then went on to direct a series of ‘Cable features’ (TV movies) for Lifetime, TMN, Warner Bros and New Line. At the Canadian Screenwriting Awards in 2006, Jason won the Writer Guild of Canada’s highly prestigious Jim Burt Prize for his feature screenplay TWO MOUNTAINS. In 2011, he took the runner up prize for his short script SAM AND REA’S FAULT at the Canadian Film Centre’s World Wide Short Film Festival. Most recently Jason has adapted Michael Lister's harrowing novel DOUBLE EXPOSURE which will be his theatrical debut. He just directed the short comedy OFFICE ASS, and is absolutely thrilled to have directed MOTHERLAND a 30 min. short dramatic film in the UK in January, from his original screenplay. Jason lives in Toronto with his son, girlfriend and her standard poodle.
